Elementary Years

JUNE 6 & 7

Jesus told stories about a tiny mustard seed and a little bit of yeast. Both start very small, but they grow and spread into something much bigger. These stories help us understand what God’s kingdom is like. God’s kingdom may begin in small ways, but it continues to grow as more people follow Jesus. Even simple actions can be part of something bigger that God is doing. Through these stories, we see that God is always working, even when we cannot see it clearly.
