Jesus told a story about a shepherd who had one hundred sheep. When one sheep was lost, the shepherd went to look for it right away. He searched until he found the lost sheep and was very happy. Jesus told this story to show that He sees each of us and cares about us. Jesus loves us and never forgets us.
